    Question Looking for reputable resources on Nutrition

    Hi, I've reading the forum for a couple of months and found a couple of usefull suggestions but I'm finding it dificult where to make a start. Is there an Online Basic Free Nutrition Course that anybody can recommend. I'm based in Spain and I want to learn online.
    There is a lot of fake and conflictin information and I want to understand the real science of nutrition!

    Hey! thanks for the reply! But I've read those and there is a lot of conflicted information and I want something with science resources that I can trust a lot of the resources were sponsored and I'm looking but there is so much that I don't know in wich one I can trust or where I can start.
    I'm a Personal Trainer with training experience so now I'm looking for studyng and learn online because I want to become an advisor and help my clients with their nutrition questions!!!

    Not sure honestly, but given that it is relevant I don't think it would be a big deal- that rule would be more to prevent a bunch of spam, which does not seem to be your goal.

    Girth Control by Alan Aragon was an eye opener for me three or four years ago. Also, Lyle McDonald has a ton of great info in his books (Ultimate Diet specifically). Even if you take out the extreme routines, you can gain a ton of info. Also, you can grab a lot of info for free from Layne Norton and a few others.

    Keep in mind that everything these people write shouldn't be held as absolute truths. There will be differences of practice, point of view, and ideals. You just use each to held build a wealth of general understanding.

    Unfortunately like an online course would be easiest/cheapest from one of the PT certification brands, like ISSA, ACE, NASM etc, but you can google them to see if they look interesting to you. Some just tend to be outdated

    Take a course at your local college. It will be full of outdated material, but it's probably better than the broscience you'll find online.

    Hi!!! I've been searching all of them,but because of the schedule of the courses, I cannot participate, so I was trying to find something online with a Certificate or a Diploma.

    I'm guessing you won't find ANY free courses that offer certification. Be realistic. And ni need to bump other old threads about it either.

    Hi!!! yes I undestand your point... But I`ve done some courses in important websites with a university signature track and sometimes they offers you some help with the payments and sometimes you can do it for free...
    That's why... the more important thing is not to be free course, the important thing is to be with a diploma, so I can know that I have a back up on my knowledge for my clients.
