Looks like target fixation / not expecting the turn to be that tight. Have you ridden on that road before or was this your first time on it?

Obviously hindsights aways 20/20 but you just gotta learn to look through the turns and be ready to drop the lean like a mofo in those situations. Pretend there's a fish hook in your nose that's pulling your head up, forcing yourself to look through the turn

the way you take turns just looks awkward though

Brb doing 158mph right after I crashed and wasn't sure if there was any structural or mechanical damage to my bike where one little thing out of place can kill me at that speed. Brb posting a video of me braking the law online.

You could have probably made that turn if you braked hard for a second or two with the bike fully up and then just went into that turn and commited. I would practice getting that knee down and that head forward and down more before ripping too hard in the canyons. And it looks like you are very causal and your body is rocking all over the place awkwardly so i'm assuming that you are new to riding....

I agree he didn't lean at all into those turns, kind of just turned the handle as if it were a car. If he would of geared down and leaned he would of been good.
