Tbh I like the one in the o.p. simple can be good. The chop with the card is pretty funny

I wish there was a way to program a visible change (like how mods have bold font or new users have a blue rep for a fraction in time) but that might overcomplicate things.

I feel like the black background is a little to harsh.
Look at this forums template the colors are nice, but i think they need to be a little more crisp and fresh

It already has a metallic texture but this is as 'metallic' as it's going to get. The background is dark grey, btw. Your phone is probably just displaying it as black.
