I just found out from the MRI I received that I have a partially torn ligament in my rotator cuff. I am pretty devastated to hear this since I was hoping to get back to lifting as soon as possible. However, I realize there is more to life and don't want to worry too much over something out of my control.
This was an acute injury from a fall I took, nothing cumulative. It has been four weeks and the pain has subsided to the point where my every day activities are unaffected, all accept for lifting of course. I can move my shoulder in space at most angles with no pain at all, but I can do no resistance training and will have to see an orthopedic tomorrow to figure out what the treatment will be.
Does anyone have experience with this?
