This is your prejudice opinion. The south has a lower unemployment rate (Source: http://www.bls.gov/web/laus/laumstrk.htm ) and more economic growth (Source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...ic_growth_rate ) than the east cost. If you have a degree, then its much better to live in Houston or Dallas as oppose to Boston or N.Y. Its much easier to find a good job and build a family and have a nice house, as oppose to living in some apartment. The median cost of a home in the east cost is close to 250K, while its only about 130K in the south.

This is so untrue it hurts. The south has so many extremely wealthy people its ridiculous. There is just ahuge gap between the rich and poor here. And silverback doesn't know what the **** he is talking about. He is just showing how ignorant he is on the subject by amplifying stereotypes that are in fact extremely overhyped. Most people don't even have an accent here. As someone who travels around the country a lot and visits Michigan, New York, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania a combined at least 3-4 times a year I will tell you the south is a much better place to live. The real biggest difference between the two is most people in the south are much friendlier and kinder. Its just the way the culture is. Children are taught better manners and grow up to be better gentlemen and better ladies. Manners are just the norm here. Where as in the north, they aren't. Saying most people in the south are blatant rednecks is like saying most people in the north are murdering gold tooth gang members. Just a dumb thing today and silverback is showing he has no idea what he's talking about by saying it.
