This is a pic of me at 16yo going to 17. Just started lifting seriously for about 2 months. No macro counting and a piss poor diet. I'm 21 now.

no **** you don't need to count macros
what someone writes down on a piece of paper or tracks on a website is completely useless. writing down "350g protein, 300g carbs, and 100g fat" doesn't give anyone anywhere any gains. however, actually eating that food does. and some people would eat like **** or would hardly eat at all if they didn't track their macros so they have an idea of what they ate.
nobody in fitness ever has said counting macros is necessary. you don't get bigger by looking at your journal on My Fitness Pal. maybe if you weren't borderline retarded you'd understand that and wouldn't make threads like this.GSF
