    Cut or Bulk first? (Pics)

    Approximately 6 months away for summer and i want to look good this summer since i never have. Also i play football at defensive tackle so i need to be strong and big by football. Right now im 6'1 200lbs. What do you guys suggest i do. (these are all relaxed except back)

    Cut until you are about 10-12% and then bulk. Reason I say that is because I was skinny fat, I decide to bulk and although I made some good strength gains I also became fat and I regret bulking at a high body fat, been cutting ever since to get to a lean enough level to bulk again. You will look skinny, but it will allow you to bulk for a longer period of time without looking fat and I've read somewhere that the body parts nutrients better at leaner levels of body fat.
    In the pursuit of some sort of aesthetics.

    I guess it depends who you're trying to look good for. If you want to be attractive to the girls, then I'd say do a lean bulk and then 2 months before summer, slash your calories and cut to be shredded for summer. Then once you're as lean as you want to be, just lean bulk from then on out.

    If you're more interested in looking good in the long run, I'd say just bulk for now. It's worth it later to bulk now because you'll look a lot better once you're lean.

    Another thing you want to take into consideration is the time of year. Trying to get shredded over Christmas break might not be the best idea considering all the big dinners and such. If you eat out with the guys a lot in the summer it might be harder to cut at this time, just do whatever works for you.
