Wolverine vs Batman. Who wins?

In the previous round of my tournament Batman defeated Blade and Wolverine defeated Bane according to your votes.

This fight takes place outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art at night.



Batman has no prep but is fully kitted out with Utility Belt, Grapple Hook, Ultrasonic bat beacon, Batarangs, Smoke Pellets, Concussion Mines, Tranquiliser Gun, Bolas ,Napalm and Line Launcher. For descriptions see this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman%27s_utility_belt

He also has his car in the vicinity. (the cool Batmobile not Nolans tank)

Wolverine is mad as fukk and is soon to enter full berserker rage. He is full adamantium also.

Batman Starts the Fight at the top of the steps and sees Wolverine running up them ala Rocky.










Morals are off (Batman doesn't care if he kills him, Wolverine doesn't hold back either)

And the fight is till incapacitation (either temporary or permanent) or death.

Well, the key thing being "temporary incapacitation". I don't really know what that means. The Bat would be able to snare Wolverine, sure. Trip him up for a little while. But there's absolutely no chance that he would win out in the end. Wolverine basically can't die, and he has claws that cut through anything and super strength. Don't get me wrong, I like the Bat, but he doesn't stand a chance. It would end with Wolverine's claws jammed into Batman's chest or neck or whatever. Pretty open and shut.

Tough one,

Wolverine is Faster/stronger/more agile/more durable/healing factor enables him to go toe to toe with the likes of namor/hulk level guys and just as skilled as batman. If fact he has probably forgotten more fighting styles than batman knows (and I know batman knows 127 styles of combat, but wolverine is hundreds of years old with martial training from several era's in history)

Honestly I'd have to say wolverine, more often than not. Though batman has his gadgets, his first instinct is the get up close in personal. Thats just how batman is. The mines/tranq darts/sonics wouldnt do much to logan considering Logan has taken a Thunder Clap from hulk straight to the face. I mean Logans durability when properly written is unreal.

blinded by rage, wolverine was running the streets of philadelphia hunting for batman. incredible strength, quickness, and regeneration weren't the only gifts he had. he also had a sense of smell like a pack of wolves, and he had recognized that chitty cologne wafting from his wifes panties.

it was green irish tweed, and the only ******* he knew that wore that chit was bruce wayne (he probably saw it in a misc thread)

either way, the jakes on the bat. the wolf had been rawdogging randos for quite some time. in fact, he licked a hookers angoose just last night. there's no way bruce didn't come down with something nasty, but then again that playboy bitch was probably crawling with disease.

regardless, he had a short temper and he couldn't act like a beta male ******* and let bruce go bustin bat-nuts in his wife. he had to show him a lesson. one that would likely end up with an adamantium claw up batman's angus

Batman would find some kind of indestructible box to trap wolverine inside of. Cast him in the cement in throw him in the river, etc. He'd find a way. You don't need to kill wolverine, just imprison him

Batman via batarangs, smoke pellets, gassing, debilitating cables, etc. from the rooftops. There's no way Wolverine can reach Bruce if he's picking him off from 30' in the air.

I really think prep time is key. With the right prep, Batman beats Superman with ease.

I think an important question is - when Bats see's Wolverine running up the stairs, is he already familiar with Wolverine and his abilities? If so, I think he could calculate a way to get the job done.
