At the end of the episode, why did the boat move like 1 inch when they were staring at whitewalkerbrah and the undead? They were suppose to be rowing like hell, and then when Jon Snow is staring at WWBrah, the boat legit moves like an inch.

lol I noticed that..no one was even rowing, maybe to show they were shocked or something. The big troll thing should've just dragged them along to the ships..but then we wouldn't have that dramatic staredown/zombie rising.

Last week we had that awkward but heavenly scene of great teddies and now we have that awesome fight scene - hell yeah. And since episode 9 always tends to be a pretty big deal in each season I'm hoping for another huge fight/development there too, although something tells me that's that for our fight scene this season

Actually said "fuk yeah!" out loud when Jon's sword wasn't shattered by the WW; when he started crawling for it I was thinking "Long-Claw's Valyrian steel, if he's gonna cross blades then it must be able to withstand WWs, maybe even kill them?" so seeing that was great. Gotta admit I also lol'd at seeing how far they didn't row from the pier as well though, also had a feeling that the giant was either gonna capsize onto their boat out of exhaustion and wreck it or that the WW King was going to do some magic spell on the water to freeze it or throw the boat around. Ending was cooler.

This season is the slowest start.

Even the book is hard to get through.

As I've said most people watch the be in the know, rather than being fans of the story, and want the big stuff to happen so they can talk about it at work monday morning and seem cool.

They feel that way because they like action, they like plot progression, they like surprises and they like to be ENTERTAINED

God lots of book readers even said the book this season is based off was slow. people prefer shows that are exciting and fast paced

That conversation Sam had with him gave me the chills. Feel like that kid will have a larger part of the story and it will not go well in our favour... The whole gotta do **** that some might think is wrong line. Feel like he may try and sabotage the mission.

You don't catch a train crammed with 100 or so sardines at 7:30am in a popular city do you?. Theres always ****s in a suit talking about what happened in the episode. They can't even call them by their names just descriptions because they pirate it a 6am before they leave for work so they have something to talk about.

It depends how many new people you meet and talk to every week to understand where im coming from.

And I said they want exciting things to talk about not story build-up...Ive read half of the FFC and I know how slow it is.

You contradicted yourself in the bolded, they either want to be entertained and have surprises or they want a slow moving show with plot progession which is it..Because GoT brings both.

Considering the WW's we've seen killed have been shattered into oblivion, I think its unlikely they can be revived. Would make them literally immortal.

This was a good episode, but it wasn't that great.

The only reason you guys think it's so amazing is because we had to put up with 8 episodes of garbage tier filler so anything with any sort of plot advancement in comparison looks like a masterpiece.

All of season 1 and most of season 2 chit all over this episode.

if they kill her for her blood they can use it for the lord of light to kill their enemies or some ****... like she did with the leaches with gengri, and having sex with stannis to make a son, his daughter can be used as a sacrifice because of her blood
