The problem here is not everyone will get that result no matter how hard they try. I read in another article on yahoo that it was unhealthy for women to have six packs if they don't have it in their genetics. I'm not saying it's okay to be fat, but not every woman can obtain a healthy six pack.

It's motivating, but at the same time it does lead to fat shaming. If a woman works out and isn't one of those genetic lottery winners then does that make her lazy?

It's somewhat true. Usually you won't see a legit 6-pack until you're well into single-digit bodyfat %'s which is torture for women as their bodies naturally retain and store more fat then men. Estrogen causes increased fat retention and storage because women require it to stay healthy and functional from a reproduction standpoint. That's why women at unreasonably low bf %'s actually stop menstruating.

Be that as it may, this means that not every woman should aspire to be that lean, doesn't excuse the one's sitting at 50% bf, unable to walk 2 flights of stairs, and blaming it on their genetics.
