I think 35 isn't a bad age. My dad got married at 34. I wouldn't even think of getting married before 30. Maybe around 32-34 and then settle down with a 26-28 old is fine.

My dad had me when he was 42.

I don't feel like he's "too old for me" and he was active with me when I was a kid/teenager.

They buy into the false idea in the media, promoted in everything from religion to romantic comedies - about meeting "this perfect girl" and living happily ever after with her.

The end result is that a lot of young guys and girls (especially the ones with little sexual experience) end up and rushing into relationships with false expectations that often end in divorce or just bad relationships. Not to mention the "shotgun marriages" when a guy knocks up his HS GF, especially in the more redneck parts of the country.

If you wait that long, your choices are going to be single mothers and used up sloots. Quality women are not going to wait for you when they have so many options and they don't end up single.

This is what I was also thinking. But what do you do for companionship?
My ideal life would be settle around 38 with a HBB <25yo who doesn't want kids and enjoy our life together.
