2. be sure to understand the distinction between gross revenue and net income; "makes x amount of money" usually means gross

If someone has 800k in the bank, liquid, you can almost bet they have other assets out there.

The more money someone has the more it's usually spread out.

It's not like your avg guy who works a 9-5 and blows through his paycheck by Friday just before his dd comes in again. What's in the bank is just one piece of most people's pie

Not hard to believe IMHO. Maybe he made some bad investments, lived above his means in terms of house(s), cars et.

There have been a ton of celebs who have gone bankrupt/broke and they had millions and millions...M.C. Hammer, TLC, Larry King, Mike Tyson, Toni Braxton (twice), Kim Basinger, Alan Iverson, Burt Reynolds, Raghib “Rocket” Ismael, Evander Holyfield, Scottie Pippen, Lawerence Taylor, Michael Vick, just to name a few...

So it's not hard to believe that a guy with the most magazine covers in the fitness industry who could have likely been worth several million only ended up with a net worth of 800k.
