It's smart. There will be tons of ad's during the NFC Championship game on FOX today, which will draw viewers who never would have watched otherwise. I'm certain that it wasn't the UFC's idea to have the fight today, though, as their marketing team is the absolute worst in all of sports. Having the fights today was a FOX decision.

I think the main card is all decisions except McGregor/Siver.

The Henderson/Cerrone match is interesting though. If you compare the matchup now to their first fight, Bendo has improved a lot in the striking, which he lacked in the 1st one, and Cerrone has improved his TD defense, which basically lost him that fight.

FOX is using the AFC game as a lead in for the fights. The game will have 20+ mill watching some of those viewers will stick around whereas they probably wouldn't have watched the fights in they were on yesterday.
