Calories in calories out, therefore your strength in the gym will not be impacted today if you still ate at a caloric surplus on that particular day regardless of whether you skipped dinner or not

Kinda confused, does that mean if I ate less calories then regularly that day, it will impact my strength performance?

Why would you skip a meal?
I have always wanted to become a tampon. My dream is to be inserted into a woman's chamber of love and absorb her lady juices.

In the very early morning is when you have the most testosterone and growth hormone being produced. It is a good idea to get some protein into you before you go to bed, so your body can utilise it while you sleep.

You probably wasted a bit of potential by not eating dinner, but it was just once so in the long run it won't make much difference.

If you do skip dinner again, at least get a protein shake in.

Missing dinner once will not have an impact on your strength unless you were severely eating under your maintenance calories on that particular day, but even then i highly doubt it would have a difference on your strength performance !

skipping 1 meal won't do anything, just like having 1 cheat day won't do anything. don't worry, you won't shrivel up and become a tiny little prune.
Being the son of Zeus it's a requirement to hit the gym.
