Ok here is a today picture I just took. June 1 I will have better lighting and much better pictures. Too lazy right now plus I still look like garbage. In two months I expect to look much different. Anyway I can already feel the effects of doing heavy squats yesterday. Can feel my immune system fighting it and my legs are sore as heck. Will still do the video next week but then I am dropping to light weight high reps. Don't like this run down feeling.

Haha, gets the juices flowing. Also makes me more determined not to cheat so I can show up the excuse makers come June 1. And I know there will be lots of those as they have already started. The purpose of this thread is for me and only me is to finally win Summer. I could truly give two sh#ts what others do but the hate keeps me focused. Thread is serving its purpose. (Actually really looking forward to seeing some of the hot womans results in here though.)

Scoot age is factor but not an excuse. There are guys in their 50s and 60s that are much stronger, leaner, and have better builds than I will likely ever achieve. Nice progress so far though, and props for posting up a pic. You seem to like talking trash, so I figure that motivates you and that's why I called you out on your squats , that and I still don't believe you can hit ten good reps at 315 .

I realize it will be a step down from your highly advanced intellect and insightful gif posts but play this one on my level. I won't beable to put it up until next week as my legs are sore today. You in?

I'm not special. I'm just a person like most here; doing my thing and trying to stay positive. I've never made claims about my lifting; they're nothing to brag about, really. I read stuff and try to learn so I can remain healthy, motivated and keep lifting. It's not a competition; we're all on our own paths. Sometimes we can share a laugh together which helps us to feel connected and hopefully remind us not take ourselves too seriously. I may mess with you from time to time; usually when you post something I think is silly. It's never malicious in its intent; nor meant to challenge you. I'm no threat to you.

At its best, this thread, like the forum provides inspiration and helps us with our motivation. I saw a story online this morning about a very courageous young man named Peter Foster. Peter's battling many very serious medical conditions, including glaucoma and micropthalmia. At 20 years old, he's already had over 40 surgeries. I watched his video - it was hard to watch at first because his appearance is quite shocking, but after a bit, I was focused only on what he was saying. The video made me sad for him and what he must endure, but it also inspired me. It reminded me how lucky I am and how wonderfully resilient the human spirit can be.

Anyway, maybe Peter can help get this thread back on track.

I may just post a max squat. I will make 390-405 look like dinner rolls. My immune system has gone whack from the heavy squat session. I just can't lift heavy anymore. High rep lower weight gives me the same results physique wise.

******** ruined these kind of stories for me. They do nothing for me. Its usually just people acting like they are making a difference in the world sharing them but really doing nothing. Its a collective circle jerk of nothingness.

Xscoot.....I truly hope you come in great. But honestly, I am not sure I can buy the whole package. Your pics are of a pretty good physique. One that many men would envy. Still trying to get where you are coming from. Regardless, I wish you the best.

There are different reasons why people are here. Some need constant validation from others via pictures, stories etc... Some are here just for the greenz. Sort of like walking around with a Starbucks coffee. Fills a void in their life and makes them feel accepted and acknowledged. Some are here to show their displeasure of the way others live their lives to make themselves feel better about themselves, if only for a bit. Some are addicted to the endorphins release and are just here for laughs. Not a lot of people get encouragement in the real world. Places like this fill that void. I am here for one reason. To get in the shape I have intended to for the last 5 years but failed at miserably. This thread seems to be working for me. Once my pictures are up June 1 I will congratulate and thank everyone. Piss off a mod. Then have one hell of a Summer!

Just checking in, cut is going strong, down to 125-128 most days. Upper body fully leaned. Lower still needs some work, taking it slowly and steady.

Ok here we go. Progress pic. This is a 14 month change as of this morning. From 125lbs to 121ish lbs.)

I keep focusing on balancing the right and left glute that I hadn't noticed that I am actually really losing fat. Back fat folds gone!
