Mornin Ladies and Gents,
Couple questions:
1.) The dosage between USPLabs SuperCissus (1600mg Cissus Quadrangularis (Stem) Extract) and Iforce Joint Help (1,000mg Cissus Quadrangularis (whole plant): Standardized For 10% Total Ketosterones) clearly differs. Im not trying to start an argument between any company reps, but Whole Plant VS Stem and 1600mg VS 1000mg - In true noob fashion, "How am i to know which is a better formula?" Any reasoning behind the numbers?
2.) Has anyone used Joint Help while having tendinitis in the elbow? If so, how were the results for you?
I know all about "resting the injury" and "talking to your doctor" etc etc - but i just wanted some input from people in the fitness world as far as any other bits of advice or ideas as far as this situation.
Other Info:
Here's the Issue- I have BOTH Medial/Lateral Tendinitis in both of my elbows. More prevalent in left arm than right as the right has seemed to subside a bit.
I do some stretches to keep the forearm loose as well as use a foam roller or lacrosse ball to roll out the area.
I also wear a BandIT strap on each forearm (as seen in my photo) to help elevate some pain. Im soon going to get compression cuffs from Mark Bell to replace these straps as they get a bit uncomfortable.
I was taking Controlled Labs Orange Triad and USP Labs Super Cissus and experienced some relief. Enough to actually start lifting heavy and feelin good during the workouts. I still experienced some soreness/stiffness/pain every now and again (not like it initially was, though) so I would take some Aleve (or Ibuprofin). The main issue here is that I donated a kidney and since then, the Doctors do not want me taking much of (if any) NSAIDs....which puts me at a bit of a dilemma here.
Aware me of the unknown....I'm ready for it (maybe haha - these forums can be pretty brutal at times)
MANY MANY Thanks in advance!

E-Pharm Joint Force worked wonders for my Bicep tendonitis. I always have a botte or two on hand in case of a flare up.

Barring all of the normal, "talk to your doctor," and "see a specialist for exercise prescription and other rehabilitation," I can say that Joint Help is a lifesaver when it comes to pain. I was a rep for iForce from 2012 until very recently, and was fortunate to always have the stuff on hand during my first forays into powerlifting.
The cissus, as you have experienced, is some pretty good stuff. ParActin is ever better...it has cumulative benefits for relief and gets better, but it also has analgesic properties that help with pain relief from the get-go.
Outside of that, liniments like Toast Screamin' Hot, Jack's Blue Heat, and other things will help loosen it up. I also like light compression bands wrapped around the elbow for a warmup, and some light hammer curls and other biceps work to get them warmed up before pressing.
Hope this helps...if not, PM me and I'll try to get you to someone who will. Take it with a grain of salt, I am not a medical professional.

UncleWade - I do use BandIT straps, but as i mentioned, they get uncomfortable and so I think im going to move more towards a compression cuff for both areas. I also agree with the light curls before the workout begins. Ill try to light hammer curls, as i usually just do normal, light, supinated grip curls. I also bend my wrist back and stretch as well bending it down. After that I usually do some pronated and supinated rotation stretches. Nothin crazy - I'm pretty positive im gonna give Joint Health a go along with another bottle of Controlled Labs Orange Triad
Thanks for the help/Info!Living Organ (Kidney) Donor - Keepin' it Humble & Healthy

Comparing just the cissus in the products to be "which is better", leaves a lot to be desired when joint help contains a huge dose of paractin on top of that.
2g if cissus is a full dose, which JH provides(for 30 days). Add to that full dose anti inflammatory paractin and its a no brainerI got no strings to hold me down
To make me fret or make me frown
I had strings, but now I'm free
I got no strings on me

You need to fix what is causing your issue. A lot of the time it is caused by a muscular imbalance. I battled golfer's elbow for a year until a good doctor told me this. He had me do wrist curls (both ways) 3 x per week, 3 sets 12-15 reps (light) and in two weeks I was almost 100% better.

NaturalGuy - Thanks for chimin in brotha. I was doin those way earlier when this first occurred, but fell off as they started to become a little better. I guess i should have kept going until the pain had completely subsided haha. Along with those I was wrapping a resistance band around my fist (again, light) and rotating outward and inward. Both about 3 sets of 15...super controlled and deliberate through then entire motion. The plan was to start implementing both of those back into the training sessions this week again, like you said, about 3 x per week.
Keep kickin ass man! Thanks again,
