    Squat Form Help

When I'm coming out of the hole, I feel my hips shoot, but it feels like my chest is coming forward when that happens, it's a little more evident in the 385x3. It only happens once I go over 315, any weight lower than that my lift feels really smooth. I know I can go heavier, but I'd like to get this issue out before trying it because I feel it in my back during the lift. Also, sorry for the crappy 385 orientation. Thank you for any input!

I would've liked my 405 to be an inch or two lower as well, depth isn't normally an issue for me.

Could be many things. When my hips would rise and chest drops, it was a quad weakness. Basically, I was extending my knees whiteout having to move the weight. Once the weight was in a position where I was strong enough to lift it, things would start to look normal again.

Also, all your lifts looked inches, not one or two, high.

The only problem that stands out to me is depth, and it's a much bigger problem than you noted....all of the squats were high not just 405, and all of them were more than 1-2" high. Drop the weight and fix this first.

Definitely 3+ inches above depth. Also keeping hips down can come down to glute/quad strength and actively trying to sit back during the lift.

    1) Thight your core A LOT! prescription is 4x50 bodyweight squat for 3 days, rest 1 day and 3 days again. 2) You seems to watch straight in front of you, but in the 2nd video, from that angle + the distance it's kind of hard to know. If not, make sure to always look up front. 3) weight on heels and 4) shoulders over the feet.
