It's just a standard lower though. For 130 you can get a PSA lower with the same specs and buy a geissele for 200 and be into it for under 350. The same would cost you 550 from stag
inb4 stag uses better pins and springs so its worth over double the price
its a european thing

brahs. The anti "assault" weapon teacher asks you : "Why were AR-15s used in so many school shootings?"
what would be your reply in a few sentences?*Hole is Life Crew*

My response would be . . . "first, why don't you give me your data on school shootings and exactly how many times an AR-15 was actually used vs some other weapon? Then we can discuss how many times AR-15's are NOT used and why the weapon chosen isn't the issue--rather the more important philosophical question is: why do people do bad things and how do you stop someone intent on harming others with more laws?"

I would start by asking "How many school shootings?"
I might remind them that the highest death toll of any school shooting in the history of the United States was Virginia Tech and the killer used two handguns.
I would doubt the teacher could name more than one school shooting where an AR15-style rifle was used.
That probably leads to the teacher dropping the subject or changing to a different stupid-anti argument which would necessitate its own response. I might then mention that the AR15-type rifle is the most popular best selling and possibly most-numerous rifle type in the country, so it would stand to reason that simply due to the 'rule of large numbers' (or whatever) it is used at least as commonly as any other rifle. I might point out that the number of people murdered with rifles in an average year in the US is something on the order of 300-ish, which is virtually nothing. And that is ALL rifles, all types, including bolt actions, lever action, other semi autos, not just an AR type. I would ask if the teacher was aware handguns were used for 5k+ murders each year.
etc etc
I have debated gun control with instructors at colleges before. In one case I was carrying a concealed handgun at the time, legally. They usually are not difficult to get tied up in knots because they simply don't know what they are talking about.

And I meant to say "mass killings" and Im replying to 4 that happened with AR-15s from 2002-2012. The point Im trying to make is just why there is somewhat of a "correlation". Overall gun deaths are a completely separate issue.

Four examples in 10 years? In a country with a population approaching 300 million people? How does that qualify as "so many"?
Overall "gun deaths" isn't much of a statistic either because suicides are counted, as well as justified homicide (self defense, justified police shootings, etc)...the former will probably happen without guns (look at Japan for example of country wide gun free suicide in a developed nation) and the latter is a positive event.
But same as above, the AR15-type rifle (they aren't really AR15's, that is a name trademarked by Colt that they don't use) is extremely popular and common. As best as we can tell it is the best selling type or rifle in the country, and might be the most common overall rifle type in the country (if it isn't now, it will be at any moment).
And if you get right down to it, it is an effective firearm. It is relatively easy to shoot well, words like efficient, effective, and ergonomic come to mind. And that is precisely why they are popular. And no, a firearm being efficient and effective is absolute not grounds to ban or restrict it. Quite the opposite, actually.

Wait, there is a correlation?
Between what and what? What is the correlation? Numbers and evidence of the statistics actually being ran as well as the source for the data.
Excessive media coverage (don't even have to get into the bias) of something doesn't mean there is any correlation.
Seriously, 4 times in 10 years. "So often"? lolwut?

Ar-15's don't kill people, they are nothing but a tool like a hammer and a wrench, the people that have used these "tools" in a malicious way would have found a different means of destruction if this tool wasn't available to them i.e. fuel and fertilizer, gun powder and pipes etc...
