Was up in LA yesterday and went to Fathers office-they tapped the younger along with elder, BP, consecration, sanctification. Only had to wait in line for 30min and got 2 10oz pours, was damn good but def wouldn't wait longer than maybe an hour and a half for it.
Awesome beer mail today, thx Janks. If I wasn't hungover from last night I probably would tear into these tonight

^if you place a bottle in a vacuum the relative pressure greatly increase within the bottle. you're a PHd student so Im sure I don't need to explain that any further
I think you'd be fine though if you just pull a quick vac to pull the air out and then seal the bag.
Ill have to try it i guess. i have a vacmaster chamber vac so I could just set vac time to like 6 seconds or somethingbmbc

Finally had Yellow Rose and it was good but didn't wow me like the Tx homers make it sound. Picked up a growler of Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and it's very tasty. The whiskey barrel is not over powering the dark roasted goodness of the stout.

I think all texites try to amp up how awesome their shytty beer is so they can increase their trade value, just like some people will have a bottle, ask for something outlandish then say the deal is closed to amp up value.
But I had two bottles and it tasted like acetaldehyde to me. Cyde had some on tap and said the same, but he also said he had some and it was awesome... so it's clearly a QC issue.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Psshh I've had all that for days now. DAYS.
Doesn't look like you got the Apple Brandy Noir like I did though
Some Mikkeller and prairie sours are solid. Avery does suck except for their sours however the price on them is more astronomical than fukkin Evil Twin and Mikkeller. Perennial stouts iz good but their saisons blowOfficial Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

You may have gotten it sooner, but that's fine by me, I still got it all! And we did get Apple Brandy Noir a few weeks ago, already drank one. Avery prices don't bother me too much, especially for the super high ABV stuff. Prairie prices are fukkin gayyyy though once they get into distro (minus dat Limo Tint - 2.99/ea)
