I had dinner at my parent's and my step-dad had Costco's Kirkland brand variety pack. My parents make wine and are more of wine drinkers (I loathe wine). He is open to beer and we have shared some beers together. Anyway on to the beer, it is surprisingly not bad. I did not expect this to be a hop bomb or have really high expectations and it really shouldn't have high expectations for what it is. It really isn't bad for what it is as the Costco brand IPA beer. I don't know who really makes it. Light floral and citrusy flavors.
I also bought a single of the new Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest and it was really good. Probably the best Oktoberfest I've ever had.Last edited by Kiefer 2004; 08-07-2015 at 11:46 PM.

This is what happens when your friend places his trust in your hands to trade his CD14 mag for "quantity"
told me to keep blackberry cut for myself as my 'tip'.
I'll totally take that tip.Last edited by thefleshlight; 08-08-2015 at 09:34 AM.

Mag = Magnum bottle (1.5L), still insane though, I have never understood the draw of a magnum and their power to incite such craziness, it's the same damn beer in the bottle.
Meanwhile we did a honey and vanilla theme yesterday, put down some awesome stuff and some not so great stuff:
Seasons Past absolutely CRUSHED it for the honey but it really wasn't even fair since it was a single-barrel beer and spent 8 months in oak. Haole Honey was definitely second, then Biere de Miel and Anna in dead last (I actually dumped half of my glass).
All three were very tasty but clearly the MO and Madagascar edged out Bonafide. We also opened a Pizza Boy Bean Dream and all proceeded to dump that disgusting garbage water down the drain.Eat Less, Exercise More, Repeat Forever

I was box squatting one day barefoot; carrying a bench and some dinglefuk backed into me, heavy ass bench slipped out of my one hand and one of the legs landed cleanly right where my pinky toe meets the rest of the foot. The toebreak was real but it wasn't as bad as what you had. Damn. I just need to tape it up with some gauze between the toes to prevent chafing and done.
Naw dawg. Civil Disobedience mags are 750s. lulz. So the raping is beyond real. $120 from Hillshire too for double the volume (4x the price).Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Damn I should have put you in touch with one of my friends down there, they'd have shown you an awesome time. If you can, hit up Marble or Bosque, both are fantastic, doing it bigger than La Cumbre and totally off the radar.
Lol dude you said that the last time I was there but I have never had that happen to me...Eat Less, Exercise More, Repeat Forever

I forget which IPAs they sent us, but they were all good. Bosque is the titties for IPAs; they also had a beer called raspberry phunkenstein I think. Was quite awesome; nice light rasp beer good for summertime I felt.
Or maybe that was Tamarack who sent us that rasp beer... I now forget.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman

Got pretty drunk Tuesday night in an hour, had to pick up a friend at the airport.
Woke up the next morning to a bunch of texts from my downstairs neighbors saying the cops were looking for "whoever drives my truck"
IDK what happened because I remember everything and am a law-abiding citizen when I'm drinking and driving, minus the ironic law ofc.Official Supp. Misc Beer Policeman
