Got my package! I'm battling a nasty sinus infection and can't even move around without a coughing fit, so I'm gonna get as much sleep as possible and get better ASAP, and hopefully get started this weekend!

Yeah, I work in a restaurant where EVERYONE has been getting sick. I'm doing everything possible to get better, my biggest issue now is that just doing anything physical makes me cough SO hard, sometimes til I nearly throw up. I don't know any good remedies for that besides the obvious - rest, hydration and good nutrition.

Even if I'm not better I WILL start Monday at the very latest. I've had so much time off work and out of the gym for this, I'll just do what I can if I have to!

Alright I'm gonna start my log today but am still far from not being sick. It's been 2 weeks so far and I can't lose too much more gym time. that being said, what are your thoughts on training while sick? I can drug myself up enough on cold meds that the actual cold I have won't feel too bad I think but the coughing fits are terrible and are triggered by doing anything physical. I'm heading now to pick up my antibiotic so hopefully the end will be in sight but I'm not sure how to proceed right now.

My personal rule is, if the sniffles, I still train - if not, I don't and i rest instead.

I can definitely do that. I'm just worried this is gonna keep me out of the gym another week or two which is not okay. But I know I shouldn't be training either, I've been hydrating and sleeping as much as possible and it's not getting better. Hopefully these anitbiotics will work.
