I would say I have pretty decent legs and I can barely get 225 x 10, 10, 10
in addition, my max squat is 295lbs and I am 215lbs

I would say I squat more then most people at my gym - yet when in conversation with people squatting less than 315 is pathetic etc
Are my legs just super weak or are people lying about their squat

I maxed out at 315, I hate squatting, but I love it at the same time.. It's my poorest lift, and the progression has been mad slow.. with that being said, I can hit 225 for 10-12 a few times.. but I normally go up to 275-285 for reps (5x) when I do train legs.

dunno havent tried maxing 225 lol but i can do 315 for 21 rep
its really not that hard to increase weight on squats its just that most ppl squat maybe one or twice a month ,if they put just as much work in their leg training as they do in upper body training most ppl would be able to squat 315 in their first training year srs

All the squat racks were taken on Wednesday so I power cleaned and then front squatted 225 for 6 sets of 5.
Tends to be core weakness when it comes to squats that limit you in my experience... front squats are great for fixing this up.Last edited by Rune; 01-02-2015 at 03:59 PM.
