i think its real interesting seeing all these fighters developing a stutter in their speech. it might be the prevalence of mma media or how mma gyms train but its really unprecedented and real interesting to see how this generation of mma fighters develop with regards to traumatic brain injury.
great fights on the prelims as well

I like how Gatsalov came all the way to cormier's training academy to help him win. that guy is an absolute beast. and like cormier said "jones is not gonna feel like this guy in any position." Having that guy AND Cain Velasquez training with him? DC's gonna be ready for this one. I've never wanted someone to win a fight so badly. and it seems like most other ufc fighters are pulling for him too.
that was the best bad blood vid I've seen by the ufc
no way I'm streaming this fight. not gonna take any risks so I'll be heading to a sports bar with my old man.

I think Jones wins again. DC is fighting a type of striker that he has never fought before. Jones will repeatedly throw those oblique/side kicks to the knee preventing DC from taking a good shot. Add to the fact that DC doesn't react well to kicks and Jones has a diverse kicking game. DC is the better wrestler of the two, but in the clinch, I think Jones is stronger and will most likely be able to control Cormier there.

The Cerrone-Jury fight is an easy money pick. Jury's skill set was built to beat Cerrone. Cerrone's a momentum fighter and slowly overwhelms you. Look at his last 5 losses, they were all against guys who are either fast starters or didn't let him get off from the get go. Jury fights both ways. Doesn't let you get your engine going and looks to put a stamp on you asap. The only thing that will hinder Jury is Cerrone's size and guard. Though I don't see either being a problem. Cerrone's reckless style this year has left loads of openings in his standup. Openings that Jury and Eric Del Fierro will take advantage of. Jury has solid top control with great back takes as well. Imo, Jury should be the favorite coming into this fight. But w/e, I have Jury over at draftkings so I'll take it.

This, but I can't say that DC doesn't react well to kicks or JJ is stronger.
Pulling for DC, but Jon Jones is sick with it. Not to mention we will see the most most violent, malicious techniques yet. I think he attempts to kneecap DC full force.
Overall, it's super hard to envision an outcome. Not sure if it's a good idea for DC to slowly grind down Jones because the guy is so unpredictable on his feet. I can see three outcomes:
- Jones finding his range, busting DC up with kneecaps and elbows from the outside, cruising or bruising to victory
- DC dominating, but becoming predictable as the rounds go by and Jones catches him coming in, Jones TKO
- Competitive, but DC grinds him up and blows him away as fine as dust, DC TKOJust Bleed

Honestly I probably won't even watch much mma in the future even if they have good cards. I'll probably just tune in for Aldo fights and that's it. All my other favorite fighters I have no interest in seeing become brain damaged and I just don't care at all about the new guys.
