Not a huge betting man here, but betting on Bowl Games is a good way to lose money. Every team will say that they care about winning them, but the reality is that a lot of them don't. You really think TCU is so great because they blew out Ole Miss? TCU may be better, but they're not THAT much better. Profit in college football is made in the first 4 weeks of the season with non conference games, pick the over and pick the favorite to cover and you'll come out ahead overall.

Just a little advice from one sports bettor to another. Drop the whole "I've got it all figured out" mentality. You don't. None of us do.

You want to know the reason I picked Houston? Because the ML was high enough for the dawg and the game was a schitty weather game in Texas. That's it. If the ML would have been lower I prob wouldn't have even bothered with this game. I don't know jack schit about either team. I played the moneyline in a schitty weather game under the mentality that the whole game would be a wash.

Sometimes you have to check your ego at the door and play the numbers.
