With all the work have been putting in, I'll bet you look every bit as great now as you did in the pic you found.

Thanks!
I live near a threethousand person refugee camp. The woman picking it up and her friend were waiting for her husband who -in hindsight- raced my by just minutes before they arived. We laughed about it while waiting for him to return on his bike.
Busy day today, I have a 3hr and a 2hr break today, and I want to get my front squats in. And have to do groceries. And test my rugby boyFirst time order at iHerb.com? I got this discount code: EKE466. Will give you 10,- off on any order over 40$, 5 on any order under..

Phew. Bench felt superheavy today, but that's usually the case the day after TOM. Nevertheless, I squeezed out 2 more than last time with 60, so that's not too bad.

43 pull ups (narrow neutral grip) in 45 minutes! YAY! And I met the girls in my group. they seem like a good bunch of newcomer strength athletes. All of them are fit, and participate in sports, a few a bit shy, but I hope they'll stick with it and the right vibe starts to build up. I'm excited for next week!

I've taught the first class to two different groups. One is all girls, and in the other, 6 out of 15 showed up. The latter group is supposed to be mixed, but only the girls were present.
I taught squats, ab recruitment, hip hinging, in both, and the all girl group also did negative push ups and dead stop push ups from the floor. It's amazing to see how they differ in pace, bottleneck points, and general atmopshere (which is really positive in both groups!). One group is really looking for the 'right way' and the main goal seemed to be 'getting stronger!' and 'seeing where I can take this', the other is more athletic to start with, and wants to be better, know detailed stuff and is louder in that they are more vocal individually. Fun!
I'll write two programs for the coming three months for both, and I think it's going to be fun!
One girl showed up without ever having done any lifting, which I thought was really badass! Props to the girls!
STuff I want to cover on the side (we're doing the main lifts per week):
*hypermobility
*wearing high heels
*how to pick the right program
*foot control and maintainance
*What is proper ab work?
*ways to build up to a pull up (the gym over-advocates using bands, in my opinion, it's a good way to discuss the purpose of volume, negatives, strength work, etc)
and secretly: I want them to lift their bodyweight in a deadlift at the end of the course. I know they can. It's just about practice, consistency, and a clever build up, but it would be so awesome if they could do that as a trophy of their progress!

AFter thinking about it for a while, I'll just propose to them to make a 1x bodyweight deadlift our goal for lesson 10. It'll allow me to dissect the movement, talk about accessory work, reps, and strength in general. Plus, it's something all of them can do right now, but just can't really see themselves doing. And: it's good motivation to do a little homework in the form of an extra workout.

For some reason, I thought today would be a good day to do back squats:
I pulled off 10x3 with 80kgs, but I'm not too proud of how I did. LEft foot seems weaker, abs weren't active, and in general, I felt a bit stiff. I shouldn't kid myself and get to work properly.
I finished of with split stance RDLs (elastic band around ankle), and ab work. I've been lazy.
Not sure if I hit depth every time. It felt like it, but that's not a very sure answer. And in addition to that, the huuuuuuge number of hours I made standing on my feet don't really help.Last edited by Euqinom; 02-01-2016 at 04:27 AM.

Bench this morning was less then great. I got 41 reps in with 55kgs, but my body didn't feel good. My physio found out why. My pelvis was all asymettrical, my si stuck, glutes overworked (new orthotics) and shoulder on the right side intimidated by life in general.

I figured I'd go in and do dips. Dunno why, I love it, and frankly I see more results on my upperbody from dips than from bench which I regard as a 'result-exercise'. You show up and show how complete your training was through an awesome bench press.
Anyways, I did 57 dips in 45 minutes. Not too bad, but my old record of 100 in 38 mins is far away.First time order at iHerb.com? I got this discount code: EKE466. Will give you 10,- off on any order over 40$, 5 on any order under..

As I was talking to Hottie too much, I only had 32 minutes to pull up 20+ front squats at 70kgs. I actually managed to do triples and scored a whopping 22 reps. Guess my volume work has amounted to something.

On wednesday I managed to do my 120kg deadlifts 21 times in 45 minutes, at the same time I was watching two powerlifters who'm I'll be coaching. I tested their mobility and stability and watched one of them do heavy doubles. Right now, they're stuck in a pl rut, which they use throughout the year. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with lifting, but their bodies reflect that they are not 'complete' athletes. SHoulders, hips, femurs and humerus all are severely limited and core stiffness is not enough by a long shot to lift the amounts they want to lift, or sometimes are lifting right now.

YAY! 57 dips in fewer sets than last time, and in 43 minutes. I was sore and stiff and I should REALLY start doing my warm up again. But I worked with an aspiring powerlifter, who's hypermobile, 97kgs, and has great potential. So much fun!
