    cutting advice

    Hey guys, I've been bulking for about 6 months and made some good gains

    I was planning on cutting in april/may before summer however i have exams during that period so i'm not really sure how that would work out?

    Would it be better if i go on a mini cut in january for about 6-8 weeks (i only need lose 10lbs max) and then go on steady bulk until summer?

    Also this is obviously my first cut and i'd greatly appreciate any advice on routines, diet etc

    Routine shouldn't really be changed for the diet. The routine is relevant to your goals e.g. wanna gain strength- strength program etc.

    ideally i would've wanted to have some more mass before cutting, so i was wondering if it would be a waste of time cutting now or not

    if you want to get leaner then cut, it doesn't matter just do what your goals are lol

    yeah fair enough i guess. How much muscle mass do you think ill lose if i drop 10 lbs? and do you think 14 inch arms lean will look ok on someone 6ft

    if you cut slow enough the muscle mass loss is negligible, 10 lbs should take ~10wks (you might be holding some water weight too tho when you transition to deficit you'll find out how much)
