How do I change to the black skin?
Sorry couldn't find it with Google-fu.

Click "forum actions" at the top of the page.

Click "general settings".

Skin change option will be at the bottom of the page.

For those that where using the black skin, you can use switch to (or back to that), it's unchanged. I'm guessing it's just a new skin and may eventually have the option to go back to the old style

I just can't use the black skin . . . it's murder on my eyes. I've tried it in the past and tried it again yesterday and it's just unusable for me. Gives me a pounding headache.

I used COFFEEMUG's fix (should be in IC's links) and it's a ton better. But I wish they'd wither fix the default wrapper or create a layout with the same setup as the black . . . but with a white background and black text. That white text with the black & gray background is awful for me.

The older the user, the more they cant find functions that are right there in plain view. I have to deal with this stuff at work all the time.

Totally agree. I wonder if the change was toward the increasing use of mobile devices over computers. I thought that there were apps for mobile versions of websites.

You obviously have not used the mobile site. Has nothing to do with not being able to figure out how to navigate and everything to do with the annoying autoscroll feature that jumps me to the top of the page every time I scroll down.

Desktop site is bad, but mobile is horrible.

I think the operators changed the format to make it more consumer-driven and encourage the members to buy supplements. Nothing wrong with that.. I support capitalism. But I'd rather go right to O-35 without the advertisement and hang out with fellow geriatrics.

Yup, I am using mobile and every time I scroll down, it autoscrolls me right back up to the top of the page. Or, I go to click on a link and just as I am about to click, it scrolls and I end up clicking on something I didn't intend. WTF is the point of that feature other than to make mobile browsing a PITA?

This new forum I just found out how to look for my alerts. I still can't post on nothing I have where I can post. Can't find it.

It jumps around like crazy on Chrome on my iPad. The threads will load and I'll go to touch one but then the page jumps down because the banner ad finished loading and I end up touching that instead. Brilliant way to make me look at ads for once.

If I click to go to the first new post in a thread the page will jump up to the top and then load the thread. Really weird.

I logged in 1st time at 3pm yesterday and found it a bit odd
