Not looking to make a career outta it so I don't need to go advanced just something basic

Well if that's your attitude.....don't start.
I understand it's easy to get into this industry but that's why it is so pathetic. Too many uneducated/unqualified trainers that either injure clients or cannot produce results. You clearly have zero interest in becoming an educated/qualified trainer so do yourself a favor and don't get into the industry.Last edited by RamsdenF; 12-20-2014 at 01:53 AM.

I agree with this.
However, since you are in Canada you can do either CPTN or Can Fit Pro. Both will give you the minimal education and piece of paper needed over a weekend to work at a chain gym and hopefully actually learn some things.
Treating the human body with force is something that you should take seriously, and hopefully as you learn you will start to understand that.

I actually work at canfitpro - we accredit the ACE Certification (although people need to do the practical exam with us to complete), but the theory education is equivalent. We also accredit most other major US Certifications. There are a few that don't meet our standards. If you want more info feel free to message me.
