How are the sizing like? What is your metal dl shoe size compared to regular shoes like nike or squat shoes?

ik a guy who owns a pair..he told me he wears a loose 7.5 adipower, 7 would be tight on him but he never tried.. He wears a size 7 metal and said he probably could of went for a 6.5. So basically .5 smaller than squat shoes and 1.0 off regular shoes?

I have size 11 romaleos normal fit and 11 metals and I should have bought a 10.

They definitely tend to run large in most sizes. +0.5 is a fair estimate across the board.

I would like to see the lifting shoes imported again, too. I saw an old pair in the gym and they seem pretty awesome...but as with most training-specific shoes, so damn expensive.

The dealer in Canada only carries up to size 12...and its a 3-4 month wait for special order in larger sizes.. For a 200 dollar shoe.

i pull sumo and yeah slippers do feel the closet to the floor but the support is N/A. It's really hard to keep the knees out before pulling. I know a guy who freaking swears by METALs..claims hes been PRing ever since he got his shoe.

3 to 4 months seems like a pretty normal lead-time if Metal is having them manufactured in China, Vietnam, or Thailand. I don't know where they're made, though. And if they're doing them one pair at a time, it sure isn't being shipped via oceanliner.

Anyways, I am going to play around with the deadlift slippers. I will report back when I can.

bump so i wear a 8.5 snug tight romaleos..would you think going s size 41 (8 us) will be a good idea? It basically came out to an 8 with your suggestion too.
