leave it OUT and OPEN to the current date on your primary desk all the time.
write your tasks you must finish for each day.
write down the chit you DON'T WANT to do, so you don't "forget"
write down books you want to read, companies you want to study, and set dates for when you will go about doing that.
you can even make small notes on your workouts (PRs, or weigh ins, whatever)
THIS IS BETTER THAN USING YOUR PHONE because the pages are permanent, and you can't go back and delete stuff (oh I didn't finish that, oh well, DELETE). On physical paper you are forced to remember your failures, and improve upon them.
they come in small sizes, here's a 5"x8"

I actually agree.
Physically writing down your goals, what to do, and just random thoughts throughout your day helps you organize your life much better plus it has the added benefit of helping you remember more IMO.
Yeah, you can use your phone too, but it just feels more "interactive" (I guess?) to do it by hand.

NOT THE SAME. Seriously I have tried using my phone but it's not the same. the pages for an entire week are staring at you all the time with physical paper, and it's a more permanent gameplan. using your phone is quickly forgetton, and NEVER referred back to 3-12 months down the road.
also allows you to prioritize so you can get important chit done early and misc in the evening.Spoiler alert; you die at the end.

Also, using a book like this you can put all the IMPORTANT STUFF in one location.
so instead of having your bank information on one site, your gym goals on a different site, your misc rep level on a different site, etc.
all the stuff that is most important to you is right there in one view.Spoiler alert; you die at the end.
