Today I was at the gas station getting some stuff and I come to pay at the register and I realize that I forgot my cash in the car because my wallet was empty. I step out of line and tell the cashier I'm about to be right back so I run to my car to get some money from the glove compartment and I run back inside only to find that the guy waiting behind me in line had already paid for my stuff.

I was shocked and I tried giving him the money for the stuff but he refused to take it. He was such a nice guy. I followed him outside and kept telling him to take the money. He kept telling me not to worry about it and it wasn't a big deal.

Really nice guy, it felt good that he did that to someone he didn't know but I was kinda mad he wouldn't take the money from me.

Scott Stapp threatened to assassinate President Obama ... and his alarmed wife and sister-in-law made a desperate 911 call to stop him.

Scott had just gone AWOL from a mental facility late last month, when his sister-in-law told the 911 dispatcher he was cruising around his neighborhood, shirtless on a bicycle. She says the former Creed frontman claimed to be a CIA agent and his mission was to kill Obama.

Stapp claimed in a rambling video the IRS is trying to ruin his life because he's been trashing Obama.

Jaclyn Stapp, Scott's wife, joins the 40-minute 911 call, telling the dispatcher Scott had printed out 400 - 600 pages of CIA documents which he supposedly found online, put them in a book bag and took off on his bike.

The 2 women were pleading with the dispatcher to snare Scott and take him back to the psych ward.

As cops were dispatched, Scott placed his own 911 call, saying his wife had stolen his truck and that's why he was on a bike.

When cops arrived Scott told them Jaclyn had pilfered $6 mil from him, and when he confronted her she decided to get him locked up. In the end, police determined Scott did not show enough signs of mental instability to warrant a psych hold.

TMZ broke the story ... Jaclyn has filed legal docs trying to get Scott on a 60-day psych hold, claiming he was deep into various drugs, including coke, weed, PCP and amphetamines. Scott posted a video claiming he's drug free.

Not religious. She brought it up that she thinks religion was at first a means to explain the unexplainable. It then transformed into a way to control people. Then evolved into a combination of both+comfort. Basically exactly what i think

My stance: as science goes up, possibility of a biblical god goes to zero

I let her lead the conversation for the most part. But totally agree. She even had a basic understanding of macros(doesn't think fat/carbs is the devil, Moderation is key, etc). Surprising because she wasnt a fitness type person

I stopped following day to day events because i find them too depressing/upsetting. But i still like having ideological debates with somebody who doesn't resort to namecalling

Relevant to what you are saying is this:

If you pick a number in random between 0 and 1, the probability of picking a rational number is zero. This is roughly speaking because there are waaaaaay more irrational than rational numbers between 0 and 1 that makes it almost certain that you will pick a irrational number.

For people who forgot high school math, a rational number is something like 1/2, 3/7, 9/27 and irrational something like the square root of 2 or π, basically a number that can't be expressed as a fraction.

So we can say that yes, the possibility of a god existing is entirely possible but it's hiiiiiighly unlikely though.
