Pff he has logs detailing every day, meal and workout. Devils is one of the most disciplined guys, no wonder he has these extreme results.

cheers, I counted back then as part of the log but I don't usually do it. That's pretty much what I would eat anyway.

Posing is almost like cardio but the more you do it the easier it is. It's embarrassing (at least to me) that some guys are completely out of breath after posing for 2 min on stage. I remember when I competed guys backstage were like "I thought I was gonna pass out"

So I got the "go ahead" from both my surgeon and my physiotherapist in regards to going back to the gym.

They were both really impressed with how my recovery is going, so that is good.

Basically the only restriction is on training legs. No leg training, because while my recovery so far has been quite good, the last thing I (and they) want to happen is to cause any damage but doing unnecessary legwork.

I have my exercises of course for my leg and essentially I am just to keep going with them.

I'm currently watching every Mr.Olympia starting from 1982's to last year's.

One thing I've noticed and already talked about, but I'll say it again;

Their posing was to actually show off their musculature, and not just hype a crowd on mere 0.5 sec. poses timed with music, or at least, that's what it seems like.

Half of what they did back then, would be labelled as "stupid" today.

They did a routine to a full and single song, they held poses for much much longer, and they actually tried to show every angle of their muscular development.

One extra thing to note: Not a single lacking/weak chest was seen.

I just have a plain text file where I manually enter the calories and protein that I eat (don't track fat or carbs). I surely can't be the only one that does it that way?
