Honestly, this first year I've been really focusing on getting my body reset from the years of abuse I put into it. Healing my mind/body/spirit has been my mantra. The most significant gains were not found in the gym--but in my mind. My sleep has improved drastically, my mood swings are minimal and my outlook is positive--perhaps more than it ever has been.

Where the mind goes, the body will follow and I've been able to incorporate the gains I've made mentally into my workouts. My focus and drive to succeed has returned and I continuously set daily goals in the gym--and they may be small, but over time they compound.

For this next year, I feel that I have a solid foundation to work with. I'm five weeks away from finishing a 12 week cut--and then I'm going to set my sights on loftier gains in the gym and ultimately aim for being in the best shape of my life by the time I hit 40 in August.

Didn't catch the game, but glad to hear Broncos won as I'm from Indianapolis and support Peyton. I have a question for you and fellow OGs, how do you feel IF performs on a cut? I'm loving it, I eat twice a day (lunch at noon or 1 and dinner at 8 pm) and it's easy. 1400-1600 cals a day, and I'm about to start performing HIIT 3 times a week and weight lifting 3 times a week. This is it boyos.
