    Mini cut calorie deficit

Im planning on doing a 4 week mini cut to try it out the thing is that i know i have to eat at a deficit but i dont know how much the deficit must be, i've watched a video that said that eating 10kcal/pound would be enough but that doesnt sound very healthy to me, my goal is to lose as much fat as i can without losing much muscle, im currently 150 pounds and 5'4.

by the time you've got it figured out your 4 weeks will be over. there is no set number for how large of a deficit you need to be in. why do you think 1500 calories wouldn't be healthy?

    Can you upload a picture?

If you need to cut 4 weeks is not going to cut it.

A 4 week cut isn't going to do much though.

I'd suggest you either do a slow bulk gaining 1-2 pounds per month and hope you gain very little fat or do a 8 to 10 week cut losing 10-12 pounds.

I suggest not setting a goal based on time unless you are doing it for a competition. Take your time and feel your body out. Start at maintenance calories ( use 1-2 weeks to figure this out) and then slowly cut back 100 calories a week until you reach your goal weight. This will maximize total fat loss and maximize the total amount of muscle you will keep (might even gain some muscle). Most important thing in this game is to learn YOUR body. Take the time to figure it out so you can make educated decisions about it in the future. Good luck.
Your mind is your most powerful muscle. Use it to your advantage.
