This is not a rep bet thread. This is a landmark event in MMA because not only is JJ's LHW World title on the line but so is his title of GOAT.

I want all you Bones Jones supporters to sign your name ITT, so we can publicly shame each and every one of you after DC walks away with the title.

DC is definitely a better wrestler and very likely stronger, but the reach is too much in my opinion.

U havin a laff? DC has better combinations, better head movement and consistently displays power punching.

Jones' best striking attacks are straight kicks. If DC moves laterally, he can nullify Jones' game.

On the ground, their sub games or on different levels.

Your mistake here is assuming that the sub game is different from the grappling game. Jones' has only subbed opponents that he could control through grappling. Jones cannot control DC through grappling.

In the clinch, Jones imposes his size,elbows, and knees.

Jones' best bet is to smother DC, push him against the fence, collapse his fighting stance and land his elbows and knees. I just can't see Jon Jones maintaining wrestling control over Daniel Cormier.

DC has the wrestling and the top game, but can he keep that up for five rounds against the best LHW on the planet? Sorry but no.

Cormier's displayed zero signs of gassing in any of his fights. He's also gone 5 rounds as a tubby HW against a svelte Josh Barnett.

This is the best fight MMA can put on today. Undefeated challenger vs undefeated champion. This fight is the LHW equivalent of GSP / Penn 2, let's just hope its more competitive.

I have no doubt that the winner of this fight etches his name in the MMA HOF.

He has the perfect style to beat Jones. He's a much better version of Rashad with a better chin, so he won't be afraid like Hashad was to take a shot to get inside. Once he gets his hands on Jones, that round is over. He'll manhandle JBJ in the clinch or take him down and ride him. He also has the power to hurt Jones, while Jones can't bust a grape. This is a bad, bad matchup for Jones if he can't maintain the distance.

I also agree with you on the lateral movement. Just look at what Gus did with his movement...Jones had no answer until he landed the spinning elbow and Gus gassed.

I swear I might cry if cormier wins this fight. I've never been this anxious for a fight before. I got to meet DC at a wrestling clinic on Long Island a few years ago and he's one of the nicest dudes I've ever met. he stayed and trained with us an hour after the clinic was supposed to be over because he wanted to keep showing us new techniques. I think he's gonna take jones's back and beat him with a rear naked choke.

I already dropped about 150 bucks on Jones to win. I think he'll capitalize on DC's lack of kicking defense, both to the body and to the legs. Jones will be the best wrestler DC has fought, and vice versa. Even though I think DC is the better wrestler of the two, I think it will ultimately cancel out during the fight. Jones won't allow DC to get deep on a high-c like Barnett did, and he won't get controlled like 199 pound, TRT-less Dan Henderson. Jones is also a psycho. He's probably studied every detail of DC's game, and with the help of Jackson, he'll develop an effective game-plan.
