I'm a Marine, friend. They do train us to be a certain way, but for some; it's taken too far. Others react to situations with confidence and asssuredness as opposed to outright asshattery. And yeah, you may be right about them being alone. Or you could be wrong. If I saw someone burning a flag, I'd probably do something. But upside down? Most likely not.
