    I do think there is a tendancy to look at oneself in the best possible light with mirrors. One can find that spot where they look good in terms of angles.





    I guess it becomes a posing thing as well. I find its easy to flex everything with mirror feedback. Much harder without.

    Progress pics are invaluable. They take a lot of the emotion out of looking at yourself that is there in a mirror.

    You have to take them right though. Same lighting, same pose...etc.

    I have posted countless side by side or two year timeline progress pics...etc. They are not only a great tool to examine progress, they also serve as motivation.

    I've taken 1. I figure I judge gains by compliments I get from friends or strangers, say when I'm in tank top....even better if just a t shirt. If they notice gains, yay! If not...step it up -.
    I step on scale and take measurement too.
