Partly because Shaw didn't really get setup correctly or doesn't squat very well. He was leaning forward a ton so hit less depth.

what was up with the depth of the squats. They had a platform that the weights had to touch.

yeah if your taller the platforms are higher if your shorter there lower not rocket science


i think they make them do one squat see depth then set it there mr shaw however tried to cheat and not hit depth by gming them

I thought this too because he's also only 25/26 and statically a monster.

But, no. Thor is just too good. Ultimately height is always a good thing, mainly because you can have so much mass and not be very fat/have a massive belly. Works for Big Z because he's the best ever, but no one else has really done it that way.

Thor will dominate for many years. He's only 25/26 too. I think Z will win more though.

I still believe in Eddie Hall despite what you've all said. His strength is ridiculous. Once he has more experience and has worked on his technique, he has all the tools to do it. I want an English winner. It's still real to me damn it!
