Here are some I've taken in the Lake District and the Brecon Beacons. It's not as epic as the scenery in the USA but I love it.

Ayy freudd - invite me over so we can go hunting/hit the range.
All I have gunwise is my little baby .177 pellet gun lol. It's a cheap 760 Pumpmaster (huehuehue). Uncle got it for me like 3-4 years ago much to my moms disapproval (staunch anti-gun stance). I'll still wreck you at shooting though brahPIPPIN: I didn't think it would end this way.
GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.
PIPPIN: Well, that isn't so bad.
GANDALF: No. No, it isn't.

Brahs I'm slowly trying to get into survivalism but frankly there arent any wilderness areas in where I live and I'm still at college which consumes most of my time.
I tried learning the basics (such as how to make a camp fire), but there is noone to guide me and I tried googling, it was full of BS.
Can a brah tell me in short how to make a camp fire with basic house tools (I also have a victorinox trekker)?

Hey brahs, I'm doing a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail starting in May. I'll keep this thread updated with pics and videos and whatnot. Bringing my big Canon 70D to make a video documentary of the whole trip.

went hiking for the first time, in red rock canyon, colorado springs, CO.
omg, what a time! LMAO the most exhilarating moment was when my bro took us off trail to climb this really steep hill, and before he skits off in a hurry, he casually says, 'watch out for snakes!'
so...me and my sis are freaking out, cuz we're scurrying up this freaking monster of a hill, which is steep as hell, grabbing onto whatever plants and roots are in front of us, while seeing all of these holes dug into the ground, which look totally like snake dens. honestly, i was terrified climbing up that hill, but once i got to the top and the exhilaration set in, i couldn't have been happier!

Can confirm kayaking is mad fun.
When I was in school I used to canoe competitively in marathons (sort of 40-90km races down rivers) - here in SA are loads of rivers (Umko River, Duzi River, Fish River etc.) with pretty wicked rapids and you sort of race down them in fiberglass canoes like this:
You brahs do anything like this in the states?60% of the time my posts are helpful, every time.

Not really, it's more of an adrenaline rush. Broke a couple of boats though
There was one particularly tricky rapid called Cradock Weir on the fish river canoe marathon, pretty much the last rapid you go over in the race and it kind of turns into a washing machine at the bottom, can suck boats under for hours before spitting em back out and I fell out my boat there once. The lifeguards were pretty sharp in getting me and my boat out though haha60% of the time my posts are helpful, every time.

Can somebody recommend me a good backpack for hiking? It's going with me to South America for 10 days, so big enough to last that long. But small enough that it won't be crippling. I won't need room for a tent, sleeping bag, big shoes, etc. Just a bit of hiking from one place to the next (and room for like 8 days of clothes).
Would 40L be big enough? Less? More?Broke both legs and ankles crew.

Well this year I got into salt water fly fishing in the bays here in NJ and on Friday I had my most successful outing to date.
After getting whacked by waves on the local jetty for about an hour with my spin gear I decided to take it easy and go outback with the fly rod. The first hole I tried didn't produce so started wading and casting along the channel.
Not not into it I hooked my first fish of the day. I immediately felt a few head shakes and wrote it off as a blue but not long into the fight I saw the dorsal and it ended up being my 2nd ever stripped bass on the fly.
Nothing else happened in that spot for another 30 mins so I decided to hike a little more. Eventually I found a rip in the channel that had schoolie bass stacked like you wouldn't believe. They were all small and topped out around 22" but my God I was getting them about every cast. I'm guessing I caught around 40 total on the day. It was a hell of an experience and I'm sure a day I'll remember for a long time.

After I move to Oregon Iβm gonna stock up on some good outdoors gear. What are some good hiking boots that I should probably pickup ?
I like the idea of sleeping under the stars better than a tent so a good quality sleeping bag that isnβt overpriced crap at dicks would be nice too. Thanks brahs.Sig can't be a novel crew
