Arab-Israeli school in Jerusalem 'set on fire' and walls sprayed with racist graffiti

A Jerusalem school was set ablaze last night by "extremists" who daubed walls with racist slogans against Arabs in a suspected arson attack.

Graffiti in Hebrew was found spray-painted on the walls, in the Pat neighbourhood of Jerusalem, with slogans such as "You can’t coexist with a cancer," "[anti-Arab rabbi Meir] Kahane was right," "Enough with assimilation" and "Death to Arabs," according to Haaretz.

Whoever did this is a thug and should be arrested and suffer the full consequences of the law. But if this happened to a school in Syria, no one here would post it because they barely care about hundreds dying every day in that conflict. They only care when Jews are involved.

In all fairness, I didnt want make a judgment on it and just present the news...Because I am remotely aware that there are tensions between Jews and Arabs (higher than usual) in Jerusalem at the moment, and many such events have due to aggravating circumstances, etc.

Still pretty disgusting they would burn a school which includes pre-schoolers (age 7 and below) and which encourages inter-cultural dialogue.
