Is there any point in protein bars, such as MP Combat Crunch, if I already take whey protein shakes for pre/post workouts. If there is a point.. What is it? When would it be worth it to eat a protein bar if I already have whey shakes pre and post?

Odd question - It's a snack bar essentially a protein candy bar, you don't need them but you don't need a lot of things.
As KDD mentioned convenience.
I find a lot of them to be very good tasting, some even better than actual candy bar's.-- Microwaves everyday crew --

Convienent and a much more balanced option nutrient wise than grabbing a candy bar.
Get yourself some Quest White Chocolate Raspberry bars.
Thank me later.USMC (2009-2013)

It's just a solid way of getting a snack that is healthy and contains decent amount of protein. Are they required in the fitness industry? No but they offer a option other than powder/whole food to get your protein needs met.
I personally enjoy a protein bar on the go to help knock off hunger, while helping to meet my daily needs. Convenience more than anything though.MAN Sports Forum Rep

Of course I am serious. They have some of the highest amount of carbs. I don't know how people can stick with the practically no carb bars. Ok, maybe if you are cutting, I can understand, but it's like people whom love those Quest bars are cutting for the resr of eternity.

I tend to stick with Quest, and even then the selection is limited to basically WCR or Apple Pie as they're the only flavors that I really enjoy.
Some of the others are okay for random ocassions, but nothing I could stick with continously.
Same goes for about every other protein bar. Not sure why, but I just haven't found any that really suit my taste.
A lot of decent options out there, but nothing that's stood out for me.USMC (2009-2013)
