I used to train DC style and loved it. Strength and muscle gains were awesome (I didn't use Dante's nutrition program - that is copious amounts of food - but I ate well). Now that I've been back in the gym for a while and my strength is coming back, I would like to get back to it. I'm wondering if DC might be okay on a cut. On the one hand, it's low volume. On the other, it's brutal as hell. Anybody ever do DC training on a cut? Thoughts?

I did it once before and it worked great. IMO, it's best to switch to a low frequency, low volume, high intensity split like DC during a cut.

Thanks man. My friend got me into it years ago and my strength went through the roof (was squatting more than 2x my bw for 6 reps, then a 20 rep widowmaker (with light weight, obviously). Also made good gains in size. I'm on a serious calorie restriction, but I'm getting my protein, so I should be okay. Glad to hear this has worked for someone else.
