Rights can be taken away. You're right to vote can be taken away. Yup, happens all the time and pretty easily too. When was the last time you saw a voting poll at a prison? You don't.
That's not the argument though. The argument is that you, being a lawful US citizen, having done nothing wrong, yet still having your right taken away unless you ask for permission, jump through hoops, and pay money.
Those who want to circumvent the 2nd Amendment then get all mad when you want a Voter ID card. How about this, if I have to PAY for my RIGHT to own a gun, then you have to PAY for your RIGHT to VOTE. Yup, $50 to take a test to know your candidates and propositions, then another $100 for a Voter ID card. Sound fair? Let's have it so only those who could afford to vote, vote. But we won't call it a "fee", we'll call it a voter tax so everyone pays their fair share. That should make it more digestible.

Something about that doesn't seem right.
BRB, carrying a weapon every day for safety yet never fired it and the time comes to use it to protect yourself/someone else and you shoot the wrong person because you don't have any practice and don't expect the recoil and the gun flys in the air, hits the floor and causes a discharge and shoots someone else.

Most states require some type of permitting to carry a weapon for self defense which still doesn't jive with the treatment of a right. If you accept that a permitting process is ok then issue with implementing a permitting scheme is who determines what is reasonable? How much money is reasonable? How many hours training is reasonable? In reality what has happened when permit processes are allowed is they become expensive, burdensome, and in some places impossible to actually get. Additionally, the people who are carrying a firearm for self defense tend to pursue firearms ownership as a hobby and DO practice and become proficient in them. Moreover, it is nearly a complete fallacy that firearms "just go off" being dropped or thrown or dragged behind a car or what have you. Nearly all handguns made for the last few decades are drop safe.

I find it funny that there are countries all over the world with zero gun control and easy access to full auto weapons, and there are still literally zero school shootings
you raise fuked up kids in a fuked up culture youre going to have fuked up consequences
but no one wants to bring that to the table, far easier to place all the blame on an evil little piece of metal and plasticTrump 2016

I think they need to stop dropping bombs on middle eastern civilians and just hand everyone with sanity and a non violent history a cheap revolver and these proposed classes for day or night schedules. Ta-da. Vigilante justice every ****in day. Also lets see Jihad Joe take a plane with 60 gun toting americans onboard. Even a fatass can hold a gun and squeeze the trigger. And all these punks that think guns don't have a place in their homes can suck it, if ANYONE other than themselves has possession of this specific hand gun then they get the 5 year penalty. But then again I'm sure this wouldn't work for several reasons (just like their chitty proposal)
