    Watcha think of HMB 9g / day?

    Finishing my cut near Xmas ( gonna hit 50-55lbs lost in 1 year), wanna give it a final GO. Overdosing HMB is a good idea ? ($ isn't a problem)

    what are you hoping to gain by doing this? the best options is to always follow the dosing instructions.

    Congrats on the weight loss! Are you talking about HMB CA or FA? I don't see much of a point in doing this, but if you do, I would go for 6 grams and see how that works before jumping to 9.

    Talking from experience here HMB-FA.
    I took 3g of HMB-FA for 1 month, noticed tons from it. Upped it to 6g per month for like 5 months, nothing extra was noticed from going up, went back down to 3g, still noticed awesome recovery but literally no difference than 6g.

    If you're going to dose that high, it comes out to be as expensive if not more expensive as Clear Muscle, might as well just buy and use the Clear Muscle at that point.

    I found sweet spot at 6-8gs a day...I am 6ft5in....237lbs though

    I split the FA and Ca ...FA pre workout......CA at night....I am also one of the few who remember to add PeakATP with it which makes a big difference to me, especially if ur overreaching some....

    Have you noticed a difference adding in the CA version? I haven't tried since the FA allowed me to use the volume and intensity I use with essentially a frequency of every day with no rest day. Only thing that eventually broke down for me was ligaments/tendons/joints. Muscles were fine and I gained like a mofo running HMB-FA/Clear Muscle.

    I have a friend who boxes and swears by massive doses of HMB.

    As the clinical results show, however, a lower dose (3g) is quite effective.

    For HMB-FA, Ca likely needs to be dosed higher which evens out the pricing difference between FA and Ca. I've read plenty of anecdotal user feedback posted a good deal prior to the Wilson study being a thing. Consensus then had been that training would need to seriously be balls to the walls and/or be on a considerable cut with the dosing for Ca being at minimum 6 grams ED.
