Can't get a dog right now, but interested in learning about different breeds. Only ever had one mini-dachshund growing up. Once I can eventually get a dog of my own I'm thinking of trying to find a "golden weiner", SRS. It's a golden retriever and dachshund mix. The coolest dog I've ever met in person was a black lab and dachshund mix. Size of a dachshund with a big head that looked like a lab and had a lab personality extremely friendly and playful.
What kind of dog would you get, or have you seen that you found interesting?

Already have my dream dog. He's my best bro. He's a Pitt with some Mastiff encoding if I remember right, much bigger than the average Pitt. He is the sweetest dog in the world, never barks and is friendly towards everything, can leave him alone with a miniature dog or a cat and he's very gentle. Love this guy.
And yes, he was rescued from some scumbag who was breeding and training vicious dogs when he was a pup.
His name is Bolo.

If you're looking for a smaller (but not effeminate looking) dog, maybe the Alaskan Klee Kai?
Fully grown:
Supposedly they look like this for way longer than most dogs:

...
This is my current dog. She is very sweet, loving, cuddly but not very playful. She'll sleep for 14 hours a day.
...
This is was my dog (rip ) At first I hated pittbulls, but he totally changed my views on the breed. With basic training and care he turned out to be the most well behaved dog I'd ever had.
I actually house trained him with a cowbell on his collar.

Such a nice looking Pitt. I know the feels, I was really worried about mine but wouldn't give him up because he would have been put down otherwise. Turns out they do nothing but play and want to play tug of war with your socks.. Didn't even have to put it through the same kind of training my German shepherd needed, they seem to naturally just grow up to be loving and playful dogs. Strong misunderstanding of pitts in the general public.

srs dont know what the fk caused the allergy tbh. And it mostly happens to medium-long haired dogs, i barely have problem with my grandpas hounds.
used to be very serious, if i stay AROUND a long haired dog (say, a pommie) i would start coughing real bad and if the dog isnt vacated immediately i would have fukkin painful asthma attack during the night
but since puberty it got alot better, barely get a cough unless the dog starts fukkin around near my nose or some chit*Islander Pride crew*
