Yesterday it was the first time I ever did straight leg dead lifts. Actually any kind of variations of dead lifts. I always find it hard to put the weights on the barbell while holding the plates and sliding it along then adding the clip to stop it from moving.
Yesterday I found 2 blocks of wood where I can rest the barbell on and just slide with ease the plates on.

Today my hamstrings are very sore and tight. Never before even on the leg curls machine have I felt the top of my hamstrings sore too
Today's cardio was pretty tough

Roll on Saturday where I can take a rest from both cardio and lifting iron

The injury has set me back a good deal where I lost 3, maybe 4, weeks but I will do my best to finish strong.

I am down I think 10 lbs, but I figured I need a MINIMUM of 20 lost to be a contendor.

This week has been good to me and my workout have been great too. I gained 5 lbs and trying too loose 5lbs but i am still able to see my ABS. I love the protein oats that i est with blueberries it is so delicious, it helps me to have the energy i need in the morning for a long day at work. I hope every keep pushing and do all you can to make gains.

I don't know where the week went. Played wallyball tonight and it is the first time in years my back has not bothered me at the end of the night. The leg presses are really helping. For that reason alone I can be happy with my progress.

^^^ WALLYBALL!!!! I have not heard that sport in years!! Great fun & fast game. I loved racquet ball also but many gyms close by don't have courts. The ones that do always had long lines. Good to hear the back is better.

Already had a leg day this week, but I decided to go again today for legs. But this time it was a hiit session. 30 minutes whooped my ass. Such an odd feeling to wrap up a workout in just over half of an hour when my normal sessions are anywhere between 1.5 and 2.5 hours.

Still having issues with my knee which is very frustrating, cardio isn't too bad but leg days are minimal at best which is at the point of being discouraging, will continue to hit body weight exercises and little by little get where I need to be with it, do not want to agrivate it again and be back at square one. Enjoy the weekend all

Feels good to put 100lb plates on the leg press . Doing 200lbs x 8 for 3 sets now. Them slow cut gains! Sitting around 1800-2000 calories a day, losing steadily.
