Off to slow start with the holiday. But still managed to lose 2 1/2 lbs. This time around I'm gonna try incorporating the circuit machines at the gym instead of just free weights. See how that goes

To All Contestants!
I am extending the picture posting deadline 1 week! I want as many people as possible to participate in this contest! They must be posted by midnight on 12/6!
But, they must be taken by 12/3 at the latest! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Also, I am accepting your start pictures even if they are in links. But your after pictures must not include any links! They must be visible in your post. That means you MUST have at least 50 posts by the end of the contest! MAKE SURE YOUR POST YOUR START PICTURES IN THIS YEAR"S PICTURE THREADS, NOT LAST YEARS, LOL!
Also, there is no reason anyone should continue to post in the sign-up thread!

Here in So Cal for the week, training for work. I've packed plenty of Tuna, peanut butter, bread, fruit, mixed nuts and protein mix. Will be trying to keep outside meals minimal and hotel offers a good spread for breakfast. They have a small exercise room that I'll make the most of for the next 4 days.

The majority of my cooking equipment (pans, pots, etc.) were confiscated from my mom
Tupperware curteusy of Dollar General.
$2 for a 3 pack.
Meal prep is simply a neccessity due to my life schedule.
Work around 50+ hours a week right now + 2-3 hours of night classes after the work day M-F.
There just isn't enough time in the day to try and cook fresh meals and get in my calories/nutrients. Hell, I have to be up at 4 every day just so I can be to the gym in time to have sufficient training time before showering and heading to work.
So is the life of a gymrat thoughUSMC (2009-2013)

They always seem to reheat just fine..have had one or two slight issues, but most of the time they're good to go.
As for storage, I always just leave them in the fridge.
A lot of people prefer freezing anything beyond 3-days, but I've never had an issue with it.
As long as you're keeping the temp correct, you should be fine to simply fridge them.USMC (2009-2013)

Most meals or food in general cam last for four days easy. I cook only twice a week. Sunday and Thursday. I weigh out and portion size everything, then put in in Tupper wear and label it with the date, calories, and serving size. I also use my fitness pal if I need help to stay on track for calories and macro's. The fitness pal also has supplements listed to out in for your calories for the day. VERY helpful and easy to use.
