After just seeing the guys in Brazil, these guys are very unimpressive. And pro cards will be given away like candy.

I agree... I think due to a great number of opportunities , ease of getting exposure, and higher probability of getting the pro card, the US athletes take these events for granted sometimes IMO. In some countries , even the overall national winner doesn't get pro card [ from what I know], but in the States, I think top 2 get it. I am not mad or jealous, just saying.

IIRC like 50+ cards will be given out this weekend, probably more.
And European's get like 1-3(idk) while having better shape AND conditioning, don't get it. You're artificially diluting the sport...

In the recent years, Cedric, Seth Feroce and Jeff Long turned pro in 2009, Shawn Rhoden in 2010 and Justin Compton in 2012. Can't remember other recent US guys with the potential to have an impact in the pro contests.

The first 2 in each Height class in both Men’s & Women’s Physique divisions will be eligible for IFBB professional status.

After seeing most of the athletes , I think he can do really good at this event. He is one of the only ones who seem to have prepped seriously AND have good genetics. Just imagine if Doug was part of this event . These athletes would have **** their pants on the spot.

There are a few really good physiques in there, that white guys hitting the vacuum FDB, that relaxed black guy, that guy with insane quads.

They'd all make AMAZING bodybuilders, but why destroy your health, your face and your image for less money, less admiration and less coverage? Bbing will continue to dwindle as more and more talented people will ask themselves just those questions before deciding which route to go.

These guys train at my gym. I see them literally every day. Dorian is a freaking beast.
