You missed the point.
If you let the bullies, bully you. They will keep on doing it.
You can get a bloody nose over and over. but sooner or later. You are going to win and the bully will go home with a bloody nose. And will know that you are not going to be pushed anymore.
It's time for people like you to stand up, and not be afraid of losing a "life achievement" if you fight back.
When you have something to lose, you will always submit on your knees. When you have nothing to lose, you will die fighting standing up.Last edited by ppself; 11-14-2014 at 05:54 PM.
"Don't be envious when the grass is greener on the other side because you don't know how much crap it took to fertilize that ground.
Are you ready? "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins. (John 8:24).

Be rational, hes a scientist. He works for a company, its not his decision to "stand up". Its not his decision to make, wether to apologize or not. His company wants him to apologize he will, it doesn't matter if its right or wrong its for the best of the company.
I sure as hell won't keep an employee that gave the company a bad rep no matter who he is, unless he makes it right. Bad rep for a company can mean less sales, less credibility, and blah blah blah...and it'll hurt the business as a whole.
Clearly he dedicated his whole life to that **** hes not going to throw it away for some stupid pride bull****.
There are fights you can't win. Lets pretend he goes "**** you guys, I can wear whatever I want" WRONG. I'm sure your company have a dress code also right? If the company doesn't feel like what you're wearing is representing the company well, you'll apologize and make amends.
Theres a difference between standing up for yourself and being a prideful egotistic *******; hes a professional, what he wore wasn't deemed as professional, he apologized for it...no harm done.

This absolutely ****ing blows my mind. We just landed a ****ing machine on a comet and these idiots are worried about what shirt he was wearing? This is exactly why most women are incapable of accomplishing anything great, they worry about completely and utterly ridiculous problems that don't actually mean anything.

Forgetting how stupid it is to make one of the biggest space exploration achievements of the past decade about feminism.. let's look at the logic here for a second:
-Feminist gamers and comic book readers often complain about a lack of strong female characters.
-Feminists complain about how a woman's sexuality Is seen as taboo and that it should be embraced and encouraged.
-Man wears shirt depicting a strong fictional female character embracing her sexuality and it's still wrong.
Its impossible to win.

What really rustles me is that hardly anyone was offended by his shirt yet this small but vocal minority of idiots were able to make such an impact on him.
I'm also starting to believe that misc takes anything related to feminism and blows it way out of proportion to make it look like they have a significant influence on mainstream culture (when nearly everyone agrees that they're batchit crazy).*would get avi quoted if I had one crew*

It's amazing how narcissistic these feminist ****s are, guy who was an integral part of landing a probe on a comet for the first time in human history is forced to go through this chit just because he has a sexy women t-shirt, not even a real fking woman and given to him BY a woman.. It's only going to get worse too, unbelievable. It's like they're unable to see how ****ing miniscule and meaningless their whining is compared to this monumental human achievement.
