Imo there isn't, and the only degree I'd even consider as a serious consider would be physics.
What do you *******s think is the most difficult degree in undergrad?

Any degree harder than a pure Math degree?

All undergrad engineers are attention whores everywhere.
They always throw out the bullchit passing rates, but it's only so bad because complete idiots who've never even passed their high school math classes see the starting salary and thought it would be cool to "build stuff." which drops the average down a ton, not because it's impossibly difficult.Physics crew

Applied mathematics is always easier because you have a point of reference. Personal experience: Differential equations in my physics/chemistry courses were always easier than in the differential equations course.
to the OP:
At some point, it is going to come down to how you approach things. Some people will struggle with the precision necessary and uncertainty of chemistry. Some people will struggle with the pure abstractness (if thats a word) of mathematics. Others cannot deal with how regimented engineering is. etc. etc. etc.Analytical chemist, feel free to PM me chemistry questions. If its lower level chemistry, pretty good chance I've forgotten how to do it though.

Came to say Physics, but OP already kind of mentioned it.
Physics and a pure math degree are very similar EXCEPT: physics ALWAYS has to conform to boundary conditions, physical properties, conservation laws, etc. etc. Physics is math, except you use real world info to help solve problems. Another reason why physics is difficult to understand is that you often need approximations since many of the equations are unsolvable (outside of simulation). Knowing which approximations, which properties to use, etc. to simplify the problem is often pretty difficult. That "intuition" is hard to come by unless you have a firm understanding of the underlying concepts.

Spoken like a true engineer lol.
Not hating on engineering but you really don't understand how difficult math is if you think the difficult part of a math degree is the calculus sequence + differential equations, which are the math classes the engineers take.
I'm primarily a Finance major and Economics minor, but now I'm doing a Math major too. I chose this for the challenge and honestly I may have goof'd. Proof writing is bullchit, intro to abstract algebra is the hardest class I've ever taken and it's not even close.
Applied Math is GOAT imo. Not nearly as difficult, make more money, doesn't turn brain into silly puddy.
